After two thrilling races to Bermuda from Sines, Portugal, and Charleston, USA, the Tall Ships fleet has almost completed its arrival to this paradise island. ..
With the 35th America’s Cup well underway, the fleet has joined a maritime party already in full swing. At time of publishing, YB Tracking shows Amerigo Vespuci (Italy), Atyla (Vanuatu), Jolie Brise (UK), Oosterschelde (Netherlands),Peter von Danzig (Germany), Pride of Baltimore II (USA), Rona II (UK), Spaniel (Latvia), Spirit of South Carolina (USA), Vahine (Finland) and When and If (USA) already in St Georges and enjoying the Caribbean atmosphere.
Bermuda
The Rendez-Vous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta will mark the sixth time that the Caribbean paradise of Bermuda has hosted the Tall Ships fleet and there is a whole host of fantastic events over the next week to help ensure this is the warmest welcome yet. The 18 strong Tall Ships fleet taking part in the regatta will be treated to cultural celebrations, live music and street festivals as they arrive in St George’s before moving onto the official Host Port Festival in Hamilton on Thursday 1 June.

Alongside the fantastic events schedule that has been organised, the fleet crew will enjoy time in a stunning Caribbean island that’s exceptionally proud of its outstanding natural beauty, golden sands, safe harbours, and stunning coral reefs. Home to some of the best swimming, sailing and on-the-water experiences in the world, the island promises to continue this epic adventure of a lifetime in spectacular fashion.
