Biography
Froya, formerly Valentine, was built in 1942 as a fishing vessel which was later motorised. In 1978 she was rebuilt as a sailing vessel using traditional craftmanship and dedication. In the early 1990’s, she was refitted as the fore and aft schooner that she is today.
Valentine is a training vessel for schools, offering chartered events and taking part in classic races and boat shows.
