Opening Plenary

We are delighted to bring back the Conference Opening Plenary Session which will take place on Friday morning at 9.00am before the conference programme of sessions start.

Event Preview Sessions

We are also changing the format of our Event Preview Sessions, which will become “The Tall Ships Races – The Place to do Business” sessions. Instead of the traditional format, this session will be more of a dynamic business session where the ports will be prepared to talk business with the ships in order to secure their participation. There will be separate sessions for The Tall Ships Races 2025 and The Tall Ships Races 2026.

Ships and Ports Networking

The Speed Meetings will be replaced with a “Ships and Ports Networking” session – this will take place on Friday 22nd November at 18.00h. Delegates will need to register in advance and participants will be able to discuss business in a relaxed environment over a beer and snacks.

Encouraged by the positive feedback to the more interactive sessions at last year’s conference in Dunkirk, we plan to include more of this style of session in the conference programme.

We are also keen to hear from you with any specific topics or subjects you would like to see included in the conference programme, please contact Vanessa Mori on vanessa.mori@sailtraininginternational.org to let her know by  15th June 2024 and we will try to make sure that there will be something for everyone.
