Becky developed a passion for sailing after participating in The Tall Ships Races as a trainee onboard the Wylde Swan in 2013. She returned to the ship as a volunteer, eventually becoming a full-time crew member during the following years as a deckhand/interior manager.
Graduating from the University of Glasgow with a Modern Foreign Languages degree, she has travelled and taught English in different countries before joining Sail Training International as our commercial assistant this summer.
Having experienced first-hand the difference a sail training voyage can make; Becky is passionate about Sail Training International’s core values and is committed to ensuring that young people can benefit from taking part in sail training and The Tall Ships Races.
