James is an independent consultant, working with businesses on environmental issues and strategy, to help them weather global challenges and strive for longevity.

A former Officer in Command of the Royal Navy’s team of underwater bomb disposal operatives, James is highly experienced in working in a dynamic environment, where planning, problem solving and critical thinking is key.

In more recent years James volunteers, mentors and is an ambassador for projects and organisations, imparting his knowledge and expertise to help develop circular economy strategies.

Away from his career and voluntary work, James enjoys sports, particularly rugby and skiing.
