Diana qualified as a barrister in 1995 where a big part of her practice was employment law. She left the bar to join a start up business in 2000. Following that Diana joined the University of Southampton in 2003, heading research contracts and intellectual property. Since joining Southampton University her portfolio of responsibility has varied a little and she is now Head Technology Transfer & Impact Programmes, focusing on commercial contracting, licensing, start ups and Intellectual Property.
She brings a wealth of legal expertise and experience to the Board of Trustees. Aside from her professional qualifications and experience Diana is a keen sailor, including taking part in a transatlantic race and the aspect she loves most is seeing people new to sailing gain new skills, team working and confidence from the experience.
