Results imminent for Race One

Final results for the Antwerp to Aalborg Tall Ships Race are due to be published later this afternoon, once all ships are in port and have submitted their race declaration forms.

All competing vessels are required to hand in a race declaration form on arrival in port, where the captain formally declares whether all racing and sailing rules have been complied with.  Only once all of these forms have been received and scrutinized by the race committee can the results be finalised as there is likely to be some final adjustments arising from these formal declarations.

All results remain provisional until declaration forms have been submitted and reviewed by the race committee in Aalborg.
