A very warm welcome awaits the fleet in Aalborg

The City of Aalborg is ready and waiting to welcome the fleet into the port. Some ships have arrived already, including Shabab Oman (Oman) – pictured – and are already having visitors. The Liaison Officers are ready to welcome the ships alongside and to use their local knowledge to help them orientate themselves and get whatever they need.
Some 80 bands will be entertaining the crews and visitors on various stages around the quaysides throughout the festival, with a packed programme starting tomorrow (Tuesday).
