Alan joined Sail Training International in 2019 as Financial Controller of Sail Training International and became Chief Executive Officer of Tall Ships International Ltd (TSRIL) in May 2022 and following that Sail Training International as well. Before joining Sail Training International, Alan previously held a role as Finance Director for a locally based engineering company. Prior to this, he enjoyed a career in the aerospace industry and launched a successful aerospace manufacturing start up in 2002.
