Table for 300?!
Over 300 crew and trainees from 14 ships enjoyed a wonderful barbeque in Risor yesterday evening, hosted by Christian Radich (Norway). The cooks from Tenacious (UK), Wylde Swan (Netherlands), Eendracht (Netherlands) and Christian Radich had combined to prepare a feast which was enjoyed by all. Throughout the day more ships had arrived in the small harbour and crews had the chance to look around the town and explore some of the many tiny islands close by before gathering for the evening festivities. Today most are setting off on a tour through the fjords before arriving in Kristiansand tomorrow (Thursday).
Meanwhile in Kristiansand the organisers have been working hard to have the port ready for the arrival of the first ships who will start to arrive after 1200 midday. One ship guaranteed to make a spectacular entrance is the Indonesian ship Dewaruci, who is expected to arrive at 1700hrs.
