Royal Greenwich crew parade is full of winners

Up to 1000 Tall Ship trainees and crew took part in the crew parade through Greenwich Town Centre today and then gathered for the final presentation of prizes in the Falmouth – Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Regatta 2014.

Starting in Greenwich Park, the oldest enclosed Royal Park which was once the hunting ground of Henry VIII, the colourful parade snaked through the town centre and onto the lawns of the beautiful Queen’s House for the special crew prize-giving event.  

And the winners are:

Communications prize

For the vessel that in the opinion of the communications officer did the most to help the race communications schedule Stavros S Niarchos (UK) with a special mention to Urania (Netherlands)
