Open for bookings: The International Sail Training and Tall Ships Conference 2016
Bookings are now invited for the International Sail Training and Tall Ships Conference 2016 in Halmstad, Sweden on Friday 25 November and Saturday 26 November.
Conference delegates are promised a packed, informative and thought provoking programme of sessions aimed at all sectors of the sail training and Tall Ships community.

Halmstad offers a very attractive location with easy access and a fantastic conference venue for networking and catching up with friends and colleagues new and old.
Halmstad is the start port for The Tall Ships Races 2017 and is already known to the sail training community after hosting the event as the finish port for The Tall Ships Races 2011.
Conference venue, the Tylosand Hotel, is located on the most popular beach in South West Sweden and boasts the country’ largest art gallery, with around 500 artworks on display at any one time. It’ co-owned by Per Gessle, singer-song writer and guitarist of legendary 80′ pop band Roxette. And die-hard fans will be pleased to hear that the hotel is full of the bands memorabilia.

About Halmstad

Venue
The conference venue is the Tylosand Hotel and Spa, which has a stunning beachside location on the edge of the Kattegat Sea, 9km from the centre of Halmstad.
This modern, glass fronted venue has sea views, free wifi, four restaurants, a bar with live music and a nightclub. There’ also a spa with indoor (and outdoor) pools and a contemporary art gallery. It’ located just 6 km from the Mjellby Art Museum and 7 km from the Halmstad íventyrsland outdoor amusement park.
Accommodation
The Tylosand Hotel will also be the prime accommodation location for most delegates, but other options are available a short journey away. The hotels contemporary, minimalist rooms, feature flat-screen TVs and a range of additional features including music-themed suites, minibars, sofas, bathtubs, balconies, and tea and coffee making facilities.
The Tyleback Hotel is an alternative located by the Tylí_sand Beach forest (2km from the conference venue) and only a few steps from the Kattegat Sea.
