Looking Forward to The Tall Ships Races & Regattas in 2022 Online Seminar Starts Tomorrow
The Looking Forward to The Tall Ships Races & Regattas in 2022 Online Seminar begins tomorrow (Tuesday 2nd Novemeber) with a preview of The Tall Ships Races 2022 and the opening of our one-to-one networking meetings platform…
The focus of this initiative is to facilitate dialogue between our 2022 Race and Regatta Host Ports and the Sail Training fleet in order to highlight the opportunities across our events as we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Attendees will be able to watch the preview of The Tall Ships Races 2022 live from 11:00-13:00 GMT. The preview will include presentations from each Host Port of the races, our Race Chairs for the series and Race Director for The Tall Ships Races 2022, Paul Bishop.
Each Host Port preview session will cover the following information:
- An overview of planned in-port activities for trainees and crews
- Information and planning details for creating a COVID-19 compliant event
- Opportunities for participating ships to generate income by taking part in the events
- How ports and ships can prepare for the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic
Don’t worry if you can’t make the live session, a catch-up recording of The Tall Ships Races 2022 Event Preview, and the SCF White Sails of Peace Tall Ships Regatta, will be available from Wednesday 3 November to view any time.
One-to-One Online Meetings
Alongside our on-demand conference Sessions, Vessel Operators and Host Port representatives will be able to book one-to-one online networking meetings with each other from Tuesday 2-Friday 12 November.
Each online meeting can last up to 20 minutes. In this time, participants will be able to introduce themselves and talk about sailing plans for the upcoming year, income generating opportunities through various hospitality initiatives and what facilities will be available in port. During those meetings attendees will be able to make arrangements for further networking with each other.
These one-to-one virtual meetings will give Host Port representatives and Vessel Operators the chance to open a dialogue, put names to faces and discuss participation in our programme of upcoming events.
There is still time to register for the seminar and take advantage of our event previews and one-to-one online meetings by registering for free.
