Garibaldi Tall Ships Regatta – Race Update 5

The fleet has now finished racing and are heading towards Trapani under motor. The results will not be finalised until all the vessels have arrived in Trapani and handed in their declaration forms to the Race Committee. 

The first vessels, who were leading the fleet on the water, are expected to arrive in Trapani early tomorrow morning. The rest are expected to arrive by noon on Friday 16 April. 

Meanwhile the town of Trapani is gearing itself up for the festival with plenty of activity along the quayside. The Italian tall ship Senora del Vento has arrived in port and is open for visitors. Frantic work is in progress along the quayside preparing the Garibaldi Tall Ships Regatta village, with supporting photography exhibition and school art.
