October 2, 2012

Nominate someone who has made a significant contribution to sail training for a prestigious award.

Sail Training International is calling upon everybody involved in sail training to recognise those who have made a significant contribution this year.  Nominate them to receive a prestigious award before the deadline expires at midnight, Monday 15 October 2012.

Six awards in three categories will be presented at Sail Training International’ annual conference in Riga, Latvia (15 – 17 November) where the organisation will pay tribute to those who have made an exceptional difference in the development of young people.

Paul Bishop, Head of Race Directorate, said: äóìWe have seen so many great sail trainers, volunteers and sail training organisations during 2012.  They really do deserve to be recognised for their hard work and effort, which has had such a positive influence on the lives of the young people they encounter.

“Please give these organisations and people the recognition they deserve and nominate them before the deadline.”
