Bursary Amount Requested (Maximum £750.00) (Travel bursaries may be available if living outside of Europe. Please email bursaries@sailtraininginternational.org for more information)

Please note that the Sail Training International Bursary Scheme is only awarded to those young people who would not otherwise be able to afford the full voyage fee.

If awarded a bursary I agree to:

Complete the Sail Training International Bursary Agreement Form within 7 days.

Complete the Sail Training International Bursary Trainee Pre-Registration form at least 2 weeks before I join the vessel.

Inform Sail Training International immediately if I no longer require the Bursary funding.

Be responsible for travelling to and from the vessel.

Be responsible for ensuring I have the relevant documentation to travel and that my passport is valid according to the countries entry requirements that I'm visiting.

Be responsible for checking if I require a VISA to travel to my chosen host ports.

Participate fully as required in the vessel’s programme.

Be involved in publicity for this scheme if required, including being filmed and/or photographed.

To tag Sail Training International @tallshipsraces when posting my voyage on social media.

Send us a minimum of 8 ‘action’ photographs as jpegs and any video footage you may have taken during your voyage. Please send these materials separately on an email, as an attachment.

All materials and findings submitted to Sail Training International are provided free of charge. Sail Training International reserve the right to use any such material for marketing and promotional purposes.

Complete a post voyage survey within 2 weeks after my voyage.
