Crowds building as more ships arrive

Crowds are already filling the quaysides as more ships arrive in port.  Some are open to visitors although the festivities do not officially open until tomorrow (Wednesday).  Those in the vicinity this afternoon will be in for a treat when Dewaruci (Indonesia) makes what is bound to be a spectacular entrance at around 1600 hrs.

Trainees are making full use of the facilities available to them, including the crew centre with cafe, video games and computers with internet access.

The dedicated Tall Ship Races Aalborg Facebook site has proved a huge success with already over 8000 ‘friends’ following the activities and adding comments and photos.

All results remain provisional until declaration forms have been submitted and reviewed by the race committee in Aalborg.
