Biography
Joined our fleet in 2006 from a previous life as a round-the-word racing yacht with BT Global Challenge. Formerly called Samsung, Alba Explorer has been modified to work with young people and adapted for coastal sailing. Alba Explorer is a Challenge 72’ with a Bermudan Sloop rig which means she has a single mast. Alba Explorer is a fast boat and her study construction makes her ideal for expeditions overseas.
