As well as being the 10th edition of the event, 2025 will also mark the 50th anniversary of the first edition of SAIL Amsterdam in 1975. Originally organised to celebrate Amsterdam’s 700th anniversary, the festival has grown from strength to strength and is often the largest open-access event in the Netherlands each year it is held.
