Oslo Port Signs TSR29 Host Port Contract

Tonight, not only did we celebrate our wonderful captains here in Stavanger, but we toasted to the future of The Tall Ships Races here in Norway.

During the captain’s dinner this evening, Vanessa Mori, CEO at Sail Training International, alongside Ingvar Meyer Mathisen; Port Director from the Port of Oslo, signed the host port contract, confirming Oslo as a host port for The Tall Ships Races in 2029.

This will be the first time in 50 years that The Tall Ships Races will be welcomed into Oslo, having previously hosted the event in 1978 and we are delighted to be returning. Oslo will be the final port in the 2029 race series and is a fantastic addition to the host port line-up.
