Biography
The Tall Ship Juan Bautista Cambiazo was built in 2009 with the intention to promote Sail Training. Juan Bautista Cambiazo has already taken part in many journeys and competed in the 2016 SCF Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta, and the Tall Ships Races 2017.
She is a three-masted barquentine with a hull made of steel and a teak-covered deck. being new, the ship combines the experience of sailing on traditional Tall Ships with all the modern comforts and safety features. Step on board to find the latest navigation equipment, air conditioning in cabins and water desalination plant, among other features.
Juan Bautista Cambiazo can accommodate up to 37 trainees for long-term journeys, and has recently been sold to the Navy of the Dominican Republic.
