Race report 9: Seven vessels have now officially finished the race

Seven vessels have now officially finished the race leg from Aarhus to Helsinki in The Tall Ships Races 2013 and more are expected over the next 12 hours as the race to the finish line builds momentum. 

Mir (Russia) remains in the lead on the water in Class A with now just around 90 miles to go to the finish line and Christian Radich (Norway) has entered third place for the first time and is closing in on her Norwegian rival Statsraad Lehmkuhl (Norway) in second place.

   

The current positions are:

1 Tre Kronor af Stockholm (Sweden)

2 Statsraad Lehmkuhl (Norway)

3 Christian Radich (Norway)

Class B

1 Morning Star of Revelation (UK)

2 Maybe (UK)

3 Rupel (Belgium)

Class C

1 Ebb Tide (Netherlands) 

2 Sharki (Poland)

3 Dar Szczecina (Poland)

Class D

1 Akela (Russia)

2 Tomidi (Belgium)

3 Theia (Finland)
