RACE UPDATE 1: Wyvern sank this morning

A Class B vessel taking part in The Tall Ships Races 2013 from Aarhus to Helsinki – Wyvern (Norway) – sank this morning.
She began taking on water earlier today at the centre of the southern tip of í_land and Hoburgen, Gotland’s southern tip.
The crew of ten were all air-lifted and are safe ashore at Kalmar airport.
Wyvern a 24 metre Gaff Ketch, built in 1897 was a regular competitor in The Tall Ships Races. A further statement will be issued over the next few hours.
