What Adventures Are Available?
Here are a selection of voyages available:
- Fly to Bermuda and join Race 3 of the incredible Rendez-Vous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta on 4 June 2017. Then, you’ll race to Boston ahead of the RDV2017 and Sail Boston® festivities from 17-22 June 2017.
- Join the fleet in Boston and participate in Race 4, from Boston to Gulf of Saint Lawrence Ports, followed by an extensive Guest Ports Programme in and around the Saint Lawrence River, Great Lakes, Québec City, and Halifax.
Option 1: Race 3 – Bermuda to Boston
After you leave Bermuda on 5 June 2017, you’ll spend around 12 days racing 650 nautical miles up into the warm waters of the Gulf Stream toward Boston. You can expect exciting and challenging sailing conditions and exhilarating, competitive racing.
You’ll experience a warm welcome as you arrive into Boston as part of the Parade of Sail. Sail Boston® is the official US port of the Rendez-Vous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta – and it’ll be the first time in 17 years that the city has welcomed so many ships.
Option 2: Race 4 – Boston to Gulf of Saint Lawrence Ports
You’ll join the spectacular international fleet of Tall Ships as they race from Boston toward the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. Covering 600 nautical miles, this challenging leg in the North Atlantic will present the perfect opportunity to learn the benefits of teamwork.
After the race finishes at the entry of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence, you’ll have the opportunity to disembark at Prince Edward Island or continue on to experience as much or as little of the expansive Guest Ports Programme as you’d like.
