Race Update 2
At the 1700hrs UTC/GMT position update, the leading vessel overall on corrected time is the Class B vessel Jolie Brise (UK) with the Class C vessel Black Diamond of Durham (UK) in second and the Class C Spaniel (Latvia) in third.
In the classes, Mir (Russia) is in the lead of Class A on corrected time, with Sírlandet (Norway) in second and Stad Amsterdam (Netherlands) in third. In Class B, behind Jolie Brise is Pegasus (UK) with Tecla (Netherlands) in third. Leading the Class C fleet are Spaniel and Black Diamond of Durham with Dar Szczecina (Poland) in third. Endorfina (Poland) is in the lead of Class D on corrected time with Hansa (Spain) in second and Challenger 4 (UK) in third.
The leading vessel on the water is Hansa (Spain) although Spaniel (Latvia) is keeping pace and just 11 miles behind. Zryw (Poland) and Zenobe Gramme (Belgium) have both retired.
The winds are currently NW 5-6 but expected to lessen to force 3-4 overnight and then back to SW.
