The Class B vessel Pandora from Italy is now leading overall on corrected time, as well as in Class. In second place overall on corrected time is the Dutch Class A vessel Astrid with Oosterschelde (Netherlands) in third place overall.

In the classes on corrected time, Astrid is leading the Class As with Oosterschelde in second place and Palinuro (Italy) in third. Pandora is leading the Class Bs, with Tecla (Netherlands) in second place and Far Barcelona (Spain) in third.

The battle for the Class C/Ds is being led by the Austrian registered vessel Woj, with just four youngsters on board. In second is Maybe (UK) with Pamadica (Italy) in third.

On the water Hansa is now way in front of the rest of the fleet some 20 miles clear of  Pamadica who is in second place and Orsa Maggiore who is chasing just 3 miles behind.

The fleet are experiencing north-north-easterly winds of 10-15 knots with gusts which is helping them on their way to Trapani. It is hoped that the winds remain like this or strengthen as the fleet progress south.
