Biography

Levitha is the first of a series of 5 sailing vessels type Azzuro 53. Built in 2007, in aluminium, on behalf of Bertrand Cudennec, founder of the sailmaker “Incidence”, she is a very performing cruise vessel.

Levitha is named after a Greek Island where she once had a very memorable port of call! After having sailed a lot in the Mediterranean and in the Caribbean, Levitha had to sail in northern Europe.

In May 2025, young teenage trainees from French Navy Military Preparations had their first experience at sea and discovered sail trading. Levitha will now welcome young trainees member of the association Grand Voilier Ecole (https://www.asso-gve.fr/)*, during the Tall Ship Race 2025 ! Will this be her new vocation?

* Young members of the association Grand Voilier Ecole will embark during the first leg of the Tall Ships race between Le Havre and Dunkirk, onboard sailing vessels Levitha, Hosanna and the 3 masted bark Le Français.
