Built in the late Captain Fuller’s backyard on the Ottawa River between 1979 and 1982, the 110 foot (33.5 metre) Brigantine has sailed the oceans of the world, logged over 150,000 nautical miles (280,000 kilometres), and has put over 2,000 trainees through her program in the last 20 years.

Alba Venturer was designed and built by Oyster Marine Ltd in 1998 and launched in 1999. She has a standard Oyster 70 hull, but is fitted to the Ocean Youth Trust’s specifications for sail training and sails mainly around the west coast of Scotland.

Black Diamond of Durham was commissioned in 1972 for her original owner, Lt Cdr Lewis RN, who fitted her out to his own specification and raced her on the south coast. Pupu is the successor of Sea scout troop Puhurin Pojat’s previous vessel Jotunheim. The boat was acquired in 2023 and provides sea scouts maritime experiences in the Finnish Archipelago and on longer sailing trips all around the Baltic Sea.

The organisation which is based in Ockero – Sweden operates both Astrid Finne and Hawila. Astrid Finne is crewed with scouts and young Swedish students. The design is a ‘Colin Archer’.
