S/y Henrika is a sea scout training vessel owned and operated by a Finnish sea scout troop “Kupittaan Henrikinpojat ry”. Her home port is Turku in South-Western Finland. Henrika has taken part in Tall Ships’ Races in Baltic Sea Region since 1996. The vessel and the whole scout troop are operated entirely on voluntary basis.
The “Gulden Leeuw” is a big, sturdy sailing ship reminiscent of the 30’s and with the deck layout of a classic yacht. Alba Venturer was designed and built by Oyster Marine Ltd in 1998 and launched in 1999. She has a standard Oyster 70 hull, but is fitted to the Ocean Youth Trust’s specifications for sail training and sails mainly around the west coast of Scotland.
