Over Thirty Nations Unite at The Tall Ships Dublin

The spirit of The Tall Ships Races 2012 was brought to life in Dublin when crew members from thirty-two different nations united to celebrate the end of the 2012 race season.

Sail Training International works with the world's sail training Tall Ships, national sail training organisations and host ports, to help young people from around the world benefit from the sail training experience.

Taking part in The Tall Ships Races 2012 were crew from :

Spain, Holland, United States, Spain, Hunduras, Guatamala, Brazil, Peru, South Africa, Portugal, Norway, Bermuda, Italy, Russia, Slovakia, Belarus, Sweden, Ecuador, Venezuela, Chile, Colombia, Germany, Denmark, Ireland, France, New Zealand, Britan, Finland, Estonia, Latvia,  Belgium, Lithuania.

There are several ways you can find a ship on which to take part in The Tall Ships Races or for any other voyage:

• Apply for the Sail Training International and Oman Bursary Scheme for a place as a trainee and help with funding (information available soon for 2012 or email office@sailtraininginternational.org)
• Visit our 'Places Available Now' pages for details of Tall Ships looking for trainees in Sail Training International Races and Regattas
• Contact your National Sail Training Organisation and find out more about the vessels taking part from your own or any other country
• Contact a Sail Training Operator directly to ask about voyages.
