Irish Sea Fleet making good progress

August 28, 2012

The fleet enjoyed a splendid night’s sailing last night under clear skies with a moderate to fresh breeze, force 4-6.  From looking at the Yellow Brick tracker it is interesting to see that eight of the 11 vessels went from the start north to Way Point 2 and only two went eastwards first for Way Point 8 before then heading north to Way Point 2.

Tomidi (Belgium) the 11th vessel is still in port in Dun Loaghaire. This was as expected with them making a late start today.   It is too early in the race to predict outcomes, though Tecla (Netherlands) currently leads  overall and in class A/B.    By this evening’s report more plans and tactics should become apparent.
